Internationalized Domain Names
Example-Dot-Test (مثال.آزمایشی)
Introduction
In order to fully deploy IDN domains to the Internet, ICANN annonced a new project which is called "example.test". The domain "example.test" has been translated into 11 languages and successfully inserted into the root servers. The persian one is مثال.آزمایشی.
There are wiki systems on each test site, in native languages. The wikis will allow Internet users to establish their own subpages with their own names in their own language. One suggestion is:\
"مثال.آزمایشی/اسمشما" (http://مثال.آزمایشی/اسمشما).
More participation from Persian users to this evaluation will strongly improve the possiblity of dot-iran (.ایران) deployment by ICANN as a TLD in a near future.
